NYPAC Institute Launches New Digital Health Initiative
January 28, 2026
NYPAC Institute is proud to announce the launch of a comprehensive digital health initiative designed to leverage cutting-edge technology for improved cancer prevention and health promotion outcomes.
The new initiative, funded through a combination of federal grants and private foundation support, will develop and deploy mobile health applications, telehealth consultation services, and artificial intelligence-powered risk assessment tools. These technologies aim to extend the reach of evidence-based interventions to populations that face geographic or socioeconomic barriers to healthcare access.
'Digital health represents a transformative opportunity to scale our interventions and reach people where they are,' said Dr. Gorin. 'We are committed to ensuring that these technologies are designed with equity in mind, so they reduce rather than exacerbate existing health disparities.'
The initiative will partner with leading technology companies and community organizations to ensure that digital tools are user-friendly, culturally appropriate, and accessible to individuals with varying levels of digital literacy. Initial pilot programs are scheduled to begin in Spring 2026.
